Co-Founders complete PhD thesis defenses
Congratulations to AtomICs co-founders Dana Biechele-Speziale and Selahaddin Gumus for successfully completing their PhD dissertation defenses!
Dana completed her thesis, “Investigating Developmental Neurotoxicity of Common Environmental Contaminants using the Zebrafish Model,” with support from her advisor, Jessica Plavicki. Dana’s work investigating the effects of chemical pollutants has motivated AtomICs’ work with chemical waste as a means of repurposing these toxic substances.
Selahaddin completed his thesis, “Towards Reliable and Sustainable Data Storage Using Molecular Systems” with support from his advisor and AtomICs co-founder Jacob Rosenstein. Selahaddin’s thesis directly examines the molecular data storage landscape and develops practical implementation methods for AtomICs’ small molecule data storage technology.
